MISSIONS

Open Innovation Learning Week in Sweden (OILW)

CISB organizes a one-week mission to Sweden called "Open Innovation Learning Week in Sweden" (OILW) with the objective is to provide interaction between participants and some of the main actors of the Swedish innovation ecosystem, besides getting to know the Swedish triple helix model and understanding the context that makes Sweden one of the most innovative countries in the world, according to the Global Innovation Index.

During the week, technical visits, lectures and seminars are held at universities, technology parks, companies and Swedish government agencies, enabling a broad understanding of the country's innovation system. In addition, the visits are an opportunity to create a relationship network and start partnerships in Sweden.

So far, 4 editions have been held. In 2017, the OILW was organized in partnership with the IEL (Instituto Euvaldo Lodi), an institution linked to the CNI (Brazilian National Confederation of Industries). The 2018 edition had the partnership of ANPEI and the support of 10 other Brazilian institutions.

The initiative has already taken more than 90 Brazilians to Sweden, all representatives of different organizations of the triple helix, which contributed to the attraction of new members to CISB, MoU signatures and greater cooperation between Brazilian and Swedish funding agencies, with emphasis on the aeronautical sector.
