CISB promotes a yearly meeting composed by different activities which promotes the connect actors, create bridges, foster collaboration, catalyse initiatives and strengthen the innovation and research network between both countries. CISB Annual Meeting is part of the Sweden Brazil Innovation Weeks.

The Innovation Weeks are organised by Team Sweden Brazil, and it is a two-week-event with different activities regarding the cooperation between Sweden and Brazil. The agenda is composed by workshops, study visits, seminars, meetings, fairs, symposiums, etc., on different areas and themes, such as entrepreneurship, bioeconomy, forestry, materials, mining, etc.

The 2nd Workshop on Swedish Professor Chair Program at ITA, with the theme “Main challenges and benefits of BARC”, will present the achievements of the last two years of program and follow up the activities of the Swedish Aeronautical Research Center (SARC), a Swedish initiative to encourage coordination and alignment of academic research in aeronautics and introduce the Brazilian Aeronautical Research Center (BARC) initiative. At the end of the day, there will be a roundtable to discuss the main challenges and benefits of BARC from the perspective of Brazilian universities and funding agencies.

The ANPEI Conference of Innovation 2019, with the theme “Innovation X.0 – The (Re)Evolutions of Society and Markets”, intends to debate 4 different subjects: Innovation in business model, technology-based innovation, innovation for social and environmental impact and innovation ecosystems. This event is part of CISB 9th Annual Meeting agenda.
