For me the mission was excellent, both from an organizational point of view, and from the agencies, entities and companies involved.

The mission was very uniform in its proposal to transfer knowledge. I would say it was top notch in all aspects. I emphasize the networking opportunities are with Swedes or Brazilians involved in the mission.

Do you consider your mission accomplished?

The mission is never fulfilled, but I think we have made progress in establishing the Swedish-Brazilian collaboration.

Year 2018 marks the end of the work cycle for the first Swedish professor to arrive in Brazil through the Chairs program at ITA; three other academics are still active, strengthening ties between researchers from both countries

You've been working with Brazilian researchers at ITA for almost two years. What are their first impressions? What were the main difficulties when starting academic work in another country?

The Brazilian teachers I work with at ITA are extremely competent and very easy to interact with. They have made the process of initiating collaboration exceptionally easy.
