A successful program

The success of the Open Innovation Learning Week in Sweden (OILW) 2018, in which Brazilians were able to meet the Swedish innovation ecosystem and its key actors, led CISB to decide to organize the fourth edition of the programme in 2019.

The new mission will be helt between September 2nd and 6th and will bring interested parties to technical visits in the Scandinavian country's industries, universities, research centres, technology parks, excellence centres and government bodies of Sweden, considered to be one of the most innovative countries in the world.

OILW's 2015 and 2017 editions focused on the aeronautics sector. In turn, the 2018 edition has brought a diversified program, with activities that spanned several areas such as Life Sciences, Autonomous Systems and Bioeconomy.

In 2019, the program will repeat the success formula and will make room for participants to follow closely what is happening in different sectors in terms of technology and innovation aimed at starting new partnerships. To ensure those who visit are able to extract the most they can, groups who participate will be restricted to a minimum of 12 and a maximum of 20 people.

“These missions have been promoting, above all, the strengthening of ties between entities of the two countries. Companies have found partners, universities have started partnerships and even the Air Force has strengthened its links with Swedish universities,” said Alessandra Holmo, Managing Director of CISB. “We are sure that the 2019 program will be as successful as the previous ones," he says.
