Since 2020, all organisations and activities around the world have been impacted by the Covid-19 pandemic. The same happened in international research, development and innovation (R&D&I), which needed to change its mode of operation to continue delivering results in the face of a new and challenging scenario.

Sweden Brazil Startup Matchday is a joint initiative by CISB and Ignite Sweden, in which Swedish startups are presented to large corporates in Brazil to offer innovative solutions to the industry’s most diverse challenges. In May 2021, the second edition of the online event had the participation of 55 Swedish startups, 1 multinational and 9 Brazilian companies, including Ambev, ArcelorMittal, BRF, LelloLab, Natura, Oxiteno, Prevent Senior, Sabesp, Suzano and WEG.

On last Wednesday, October 7, CISB promoted the Emerging Technologies for Digital and Automation Challenges webinar, which was attended by Flávio França from Media Glass, Daniel Damasceno from MSD Sistemas and Thiago Machado from ST-One, representatives of three prominent national startups.
