More than 160 projects were applied for the 4th call CNPq/CISB /SAAB.

The 4th call for project CNPq/CISB/SAAB, under the Science without Borders Program, again recorded a significant number of applications. 162 projects were submitted, which represents an increase of 50% compared to the previous edition that had 108 subscribers. The scholarships are the result of an agreement between the National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq), the Swedish-Brazilian Research and Innovation Centre (CISB) and Saab AB, a leading Swedish technology company in the areas of defense and military civil security.

It’s about recognition of its contribution to the Research activities and the Brazilian technological development.

The Swedish–Brazilian Research and Innovation Centre (CISB) received yesterday, May 5th a Special Mention of Gratitude from National Council for Scientific and Technological Development (CNPq/MCTI) during the Almirante Álvaro Alberto Prize’s ceremony for the Science and Technology to the researcher Magda Becker Soares. “It’s about recognition of its contribution to the Research activities and the Brazilian technological development”said Alessandra Holmo, Managing Director of CISB.

15 scholarships will be offered, 10 for postdoctoral and five sandwich doctorate focused on the Aeronautics area

The 4th call of projects for granting scholarships in Sweden, developed by the Swedish-Brazilian Research and Innovation Centre (CISB), within the scope of the program Science without Borders, the Federal Government, is open for registrations. The areas of interest are Materials and Manufacturing, Electronics, Information and Communication Technology and Systems of Mechanical Engineering, all geared to the Air Force.

More than 30 projects were analyzed by the evaluation committee made up of industry members and academia of the two countries

The Swedish-Brazilian Research and Innovation Centre (CISB), which acts as an international hub to identify, develop and support research projects in various technological areas, selected 26 collaborative projects on Calls "International Collaboration to Support" and "Support for Missions International ", released in November. The winners will receive airfare and lodging in Sweden and Brazil to make short trips in order to develop their projects.

The center will hold a workshop to discuss initiatives in the maritime logistics segment and co-organize with the Embassy of Sweden the initiative of Smart Living Challenge
